Legislative Massage Awareness Day

The Texas Association of Massage Therapists (TAMT) hosted Legislative Massage Awareness Day on Thursday, May 29, 2003. Other groups were invited to participate. This was a great chance to get to know our representatives and make ourselves known in the halls of the legislature.

We had an information table and 6 or 7 massage chairs in the Capitol rotunda from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers provided chair massage and talked about our profession to legislative staff members.
